L-glutamic acid is a non-essential amino acid naturally occurring in the L-form. Glutamic acid is the most common excitatory neurotransmitter in the CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM.
China H&Z® L-Glutamic Acid is a amino acid widely used as nutrition supplements in food and beverage industries. As a nutrition supplements, L-Glutamic Acid can be used in a wide variety of industries including: food production, beverage, cosmetics, agriculture/animal feed, and various other industries.

L-Glutamic acid Introduction:
Glutamic acid is an acidic amino acid. Glutamate important role in the metabolic processes of proteins in vivo, the involvement of animals, plants and many important chemical reactions. Glutamic acid is anα-amino acid It is usually abbreviated as Glu Glutamic acid is used by almost all living beings in the
biosynthesis of proteins
Glutamate is a key compound in cellular metabolism. In humans, dietary proteins are broken down by digestion into amino acids, which serve as metabolic fuel for other functional roles in the body. Glutamate also plays an important role in the body's disposal of excess or waste nitrogen. Glutamate is also a neurotransmitter which makes it one of the most abundant molecules in the brain.

L-Glutamic acid Function:
1. H&Z® L-glutamic acid is mainly used in the production of monosodium glutamate, spices, as well as for the use of salt, nutritional supplements and biochemical reagents. L - glutamic acid itself can be used as a drug, to participate in the brain protein and sugar metabolism, promote oxidation process, the goods in the body combined with ammonia into non-toxic l-glutamine, decreased blood ammonia, alleviate the symptoms of hepatic coma. It is mainly used to treat liver coma and severe liver dysfunction.
2. It is not usually used alone, but is used in conjunction with phenol and quinone antioxygeners in order to achieve good synergistic effect.
3. Glutamate is used as a chemical - plated complexant.
4. Used for pharmaceutical, food additives and nutritional fortifiers.
5. For biochemical studies, medicine is used for liver coma, epilepsy, ketonuria and ketosis.
6. Substitute salt, nutrition supplement and umami (mainly used for meat, soup and poultry). It can also be used as the prevention agent for magnesium phosphate crystallization in canned fish such as shrimp and crabs.
7. Sodium glutamate, which is used as a condiment, has MSG and monosodium glutamate.
L-Glutamic acid Application:
1.L-Glutamine is the most prevalent amino acid in the bloodstream.
2.L-Glutamine is involved in more metabolic processes than any other amino acid.
3.L-Glutamine is converted to glucose when more glucose is required by the body as an energy source.
4.L-Glutamine also plays a part in maintaining proper blood glucose levels and the right pH range.
5.L-Glutamine serves as a source of fuel for cells lining the intestines. Without it, these cells waste away.
